At the Dubai Air Show, which took place in November, it was announced that Honeywell Aerospace and Denel Aviation have signed an agreement to explore opportunities to provide upgrades to military-fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, as well as commercial helicopters. Honeywell offers a range of upgrades for military aircraft that help to make fleets safer and more efficient.

The companies aim to apply complementary knowledge to address the specific challenges of the region’s operators and deliver rapid maintenance and repair capabilities, as well as improved communications, helping customers to extend the lifespan of their fleets and reduce downtime.
Denel Aviation is a division of Denel (SOC) Ltd, the South African aircraft manufacturer, maintenance, repair and overhaul facility. The two companies will work to provide customers with integrated solutions for a wide range of Honeywell avionics, satellite communication and mechanical products.
