Cybersecurity, Data Analytics Take Center Stage at C5ISR Conference

Hundreds of military and defense industry counterparts will descend on Charleston, S.C., this week for the 9th Annual C5ISR Government and Industry Partnership Summit.

The summit, organized by the Charleston Defense Contractors Association, draws more than 1,200 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors for the event which runs from Dec. 1-4. The conference, with a theme this year of "Building Knowledge and Technology Network for the Warfighter of the Future," provides a platform for government and private industry to form important connections, share knowledge and continuously improve the state of defense in our country. Agenda topics at the event include cloud computing capabilities; cybersecurity for government networks; and data management. Panelists include representatives from the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR); Joint Chiefs of Staff; Department of Defense; and National Security Agency.
