Steven Lien

Steven Lien was named president of Honeywell Aerospace Asia Pacific in February 2016. He is responsible for all strategic growth initiatives across the region.

Previously, Lien was vice president, China and APAC Growth.

Before this role, Lien was vice president, Defense and Space International, responsible for managing the Aerospace International Defense business serving over 400 customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia Pacific and Australasia, including all international OEMs and aftermarket defense businesses. Lien played a critical role in driving international growth, while continuing to improve profitability for Defense and Space, and expanding Aerospace’s High Growth Region strategy.

Before that Lien was vice president, Navigation Subsystems, Sensors and Space Products, where he led the cross-functional team responsible for overall strategic direction and long-term execution and growth of this major product family.

Lien has been at Honeywell for 13 years in various roles in business leadership, business development and strategic planning. Directly before joining Honeywell he spent time at Pratt & Whitney and before that had a career in consulting with McKinsey & Company and Kaiser Associates, serving clients in a range of industries with a focus on aerospace, defense and transportation.

Lien holds a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
