Brian Sill

Brian Sill is the President of the Engines and Power Systems Business unit. In this role, Brian is responsible for all aspects of the engines, auxiliary power units and electric power businesses. This division serves a wide range of global customers who make, operate and maintain commercial air transport aircraft, business jets, general aviation and defense aircraft.


 Brian’s 30-year industry background includes extensive cross-functional, product and customer experience responsibilities. Most recently he was President of Commercial Aviation for Honeywell Aerospace, a $16 billion business group of Honeywell. This was expanded from his previous role as President of Business and General Aviation which changed in April of 2016 to include the entire Commercial business.


 Prior to that, Sill was the Vice President of the Airlines Customer Business Team within Air Transport and Regional and was responsible for the global leadership of this $3 billion business. Sill has also served as Vice President of the Defense Aftermarket Americas business, where he led a global team responsible for supporting business growth and sales excellence across the organization.


Prior to this role, Sill was Vice President of Business and General Aviation Aftermarket. He was responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership to achieve the customer and business objectives for this greater than $1 billion business.


He also served as Vice President of the Gulfstream/IAI Customer Business Team where he helped secure longterm business for Honeywell on Gulfstream’s new G280 and G650 aircraft. During this time, Gulfstream certified Honeywell’s award winning synthetic vision system, currently marketed as SmartView.


 He joined the company in 1987 and earned his Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University.
