The connected helicopter will take center stage at Honeywell’s exhibit during the 2018 Helicopter Association International Heli-Expo in Las Vegas. Join us at Exhibit Booth C1329 to experience the full range of connected helicopter solutions and services – including our signature Aspire 200 satellite communications system and high data-rate software, which brings true high-speed connectivity to the helicopter environment for the first time.
The Honeywell display will feature a unique helicopter fuselage mockup to showcase the full lineup of Honeywell and BendixKing commercial helicopter technologies, products and services. Visitors can learn about the latest developments in propulsion engines, avionics and safety systems, vibration and health monitoring systems, connectivity hardware and services, and much more.
For example, we offer fully integrated solutions to help operators meet helicopter air ambulance and ADS-B Out mandates, featuring the latest Sky Connected Tracker III mission management system, Enhance Ground Proximity Warning System and other products.
Honeywell also is the leader in helicopter Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) technologies that improve safety and reliability by detecting potential problems and enabling condition-based maintenance.
On Feb. 26 Honeywell will release the results of our 20th Turbine-Powered Civil Helicopter Purchase Outlook. Much anticipated by the helicopter community, the annual outlook provides detailed analysis of industry trends and operators’ purchase plans. We expect to make several other news announcements at this year’s expo.
We’ll also take part in several key presentations during this year’s expo.
- Honeywell’s Rob Richardson will talk about HUMS, EGPWS and other topics during a Rotor Safety Challenge presentation at 11:45 on Feb. 28.
- Jim Ebken will provide a technical briefing on the Honeywell T53 engine on Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. and on the LTS101/HTS900 engine on Feb. 27 at 2 p.m.
