Honeywell Will Be Landing in Orlando for Mro Americas 2017

APR 25-27 | Orlando, Florida

Honeywell will once again be landing in Orlando, Fla., this time for MRO Americas 2017. Our air transport and airlines team will be on hand at Booth #4039 showcasing solutions for improving reliability and cost efficiency, complying with the upcoming 2020 Mandates, and the best airborne connectivity experience.

Here’s some of what you’ll learn about:

  • The auxiliary power unit (APU) for the connected world: Connected APU represents the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) at its best by helping airlines avoid costs by reducing delays and cancellations and decrease unscheduled downtime of the APU. With Connected APU, airlines provide Honeywell with access to data already being generated on the aircraft. We use sophisticated analytical tools to examine and analyze the information in almost real time and provide predictive maintenance alerts before the failure occurs.
  • Mandates compliance: The Traffic Collision and Avoidance System (TCAS) Change 7.1 has been implemented, but there are a number of regional jets that haven’t yet upgraded. The Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast Out mandate requires 1090 Extended Squitter (ES) Mode S capabilities in 2020. Our team will provide information about Honeywell the solutions for complying with each of these mandates.
  • JetWaveTMWi-Fi That Flies: According to recent surveys, 6 in 10 travelers say that they would be disappointed or frustrated flying without Wi-Fi; and 90% say it’s essential to experience a reliable and fast connection. Ask about our JetWave for wide- / narrow-body and regional jets.
