Equipping Military Special Forces
Honeywell will showcase its range of communications and cockpit technology for the warfighter at this year’s Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) in Tampa, FL.
The conference and exhibition, which will be held May 23-26, brings together more than 400 exhibitors and thousands of attendees, providing a forum for militaries, governments, academia and industry stakeholders to network and discuss how to best support global special operations forces in today’s environment.
The Honeywell booth (#648) will showcase some of its market-leading communications technology products, including:
- JetWave Ka-band Satellite Communications System. Components on the booth include the fuselage mount antenna, which supports high-bandwidth, high-speed connectivity via Inmarsat’s GX satellite network.
- AC-27 Common Datalink (CDL) Antenna, a high-gain, mobile communications system ideal for rugged helicopter environments and unmanned aerial vehicle platforms
- GC-27 CDL Terminal, a ground system that provides high-bandwidth point-to-point communication capabilities for voice, video and data
