Six Reasons to Visit NBAA This Year

October 19, 2016 | Author: Robert Wolfersteig

It’s just a couple weeks to go before the biggest show on earth—biz av-wise that is—and we’ve been pumped for months. Of course the Paris Air Show and the EAA AirVenture, aka “Oshkosh,” are the big shows for their respective markets, but for business aviation, it’s got to be the annual NBAA gathering.

Did you know that the National Business Aviation Association’s annual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), held in Orlando Nov. 1-3 this year, is actually the sixth largest trade show in the U.S.?

So forget baseball’s “Fall Classic” (which, considering it doesn’t even start until Oct. 25, probably ought to be called the Winter Classic) and join Honeywell at the real Fall Classic in Florida.

I can think of at least five, er, six good reasons to visit us at Booth 2200.

  1. JetWave™ demos—this satellite communications hardware brings consistent, high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi to aircraft across the globe.
  2. GoDirect Aerospace Services—With a push of a button, customers can view all their services, including flight support, cabin connectivity, and maintenance and service plans. We’ll also be hosting a series of presentations called Cabin Connectivity: Maximizing User Experience While Controlling Costs.
  3. Like to get hands-on with your cabin management? Honeywell representatives will be demo’ing Ovation Select®, the digital, high-def system that gives business jet passengers the ultimate in in-flight entertainment, business productivity and connectivity.
  4. Where else can you simultaneously check out innovative cockpits for a dozen aircraft types from the comfort of a cozy trade show booth? Among the flight decks on display will be the Primus Epic® Next Generation flight management system, Primus Elite® high-definition flight deck upgrade and BendixKing's AeroVue for the King Air (which will be on display at Innova Aerospace, Booth 2282.)
  5. We didn’t forget engines and APUs though. Our partners' exhibits will include the HTF7000 engine at StandardAero, Booth 2296; the TPE331-10 engine at Executive Aircraft Maintenance, Booth 1908; and the 36-150 auxiliary power unit at Dallas Airmotive, Booth 2619.
  6. Disney World anyone? (We’re still debating whether to do Splash Mountain or Space Mountain.)
