Supporting Flights into Rio

For the first time in history, the summer games will be in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. And, with opening ceremony starting August 5, several business jet owners from around the world will be taking their private aircraft to witness the games in person.

Luckily, for those that are making the trip to witness the action, Honeywell has an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) service for those who need assistance, repair or support on their Honeywell solutions.

Honeywell has prepared a special plan to support operators flying into Brazil by increasing the number of parts available at our local forward stocking location, two Field Service Engineers and a Customer Support Manager to support operators on the ground.

Rafael is a Customer Support Manager responsible for supporting Executive Aviation customers in the South America region with Honeywell Avionics and Mechanical products and services, on various aircraft platforms. He is also responsible for developing and managing the network of Authorized Service Centers supporting our Avionics and Mechanical (Engine and APU) products. Rafael also represents Honeywell on OEM M&O and Operators Conferences, and hosts the Honeywell Operators Conferences in South America.
